PROJECT 365 and DON'T FORGET...

Week 44
10/29/12  While the wind was blowing fiercely outside and the temperatures were going down, I finished the latest hat I had started knitting with some remnants...the cotton made it stiffer than I would have liked but maybe someone at the Pregnancy Center will like it for one of their little kids

10/29/12  Robin shared some chard (from her garden) with me and so I saved it for a special day...cooking it down in chicken broth, I added onions and egg (combined with some cornstarch) and slowly ladled it into the pot...ya'll, it was SO YUMMY...I ate the whole thing for lunch!

10/30/12  A precious friend was celebrating her 80th birthday, so we got to dress up and drive across town to the Atlanta Athletic Club...we celebrated her and got to catch up with friends from our "BellSouth" days...The lady (top left) introduced me to my husband)...how is it time flies so quickly?

11/2/2012  A girlfriend was hosting a table at the Pregnancy Resource Center's 2012 Banquet...I love to make 'booties' and 'socks' for their newborns...so I got to dress up twice this week!
