100_0017BEFORE GOING INTO THE THRIFT STORE, I NOTICED THE BAPTIST CHURCH IN TOWN …IT WAS TOO GOOD A VENUE TO PASS UP, SO I TOOK THIS SHOT…

THERE WAS A SMALLER CROWD THAN USUAL…AND I FOUND AN ADDITION FOR MY CHRISTMAS PILL BOX COLLECTION.

MY ADDITION THIS TRIP WAS THE WHITE ONE WITH THE SILVER BEADING AND RED POINSETTIAS…SO CUTE…I THINK IT LOOKS NICE WITH MY OTHER TWO.

YEARLY CHORES WITH VEHICLES ARE ALWAYS SOOOO DIFFICULT... ESPECIALLY THIS SOON AFTER THE HOLIDAYS.
MY SUV FAILED EMISSIONS…I THOUGHT IT WOULD PASS…FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY THE MECHANIC FOUND SOME UNKNOWN CONCERNS, SO I HAD THEM REPAIRED (SEE THEM ALL LISTED…YIKES…AND THAT’S ONLY PAGE 1).

I was so excited yesterday to find a Rachel ray pan I have been wanting at TJ Max for cheap!

The hibiscus is beautiful! I have such a brown thumb and kill everything!

Hurray for blooming hibiscus!
It would be hard to eat those cute little piggies :)
So sad you had to start out the year with car repairs :( That's how we FINISHED last year :)
Good job on finding some fantastic thrift store deals!
Great week, lovely photos!

Yumm to the fried pies. I love them and my grandmother used to make the world's best. She used dried apples she would cut and dry on a window screen. I loved the church steeple. Sounds like you had a busy week...and isn't thrift store shopping and finding great buys just the greatest?

I've never seen a Christmas pill box until now. I brought home one of my grandmother's when we cleared out her house this summer. It sits on my nightstand and I love it. A collection might be fun.

Sounds like you had a great week! Thanks for sharing.

Ooh - I'd like to eat a pink pig cupcake - they look great! And of course a fried pie of any variety would be most excellent :)

The cupcakes are too cute and I love that you collect little pillboxes! My mom and i have a lot of little quirky collections; it makes shopping more fun when you have to hunt for things.

Never herd of growing a hibiscus indoors--beautiful!
Nor did I know what a pill box was--great collection.
You're the thrift queen. Wish I could come along and see things through your eyes, 'cause I dig the prices .
