Usually I post a reference to a christian song, but this time a Kenny Chesney song ("Don't Blink") speaks to my feelings today...
love our kids, our family, each day, for the good and the bad
Tomorrow comes too soon......Don't blink

Lord, May all who read and listen to this take it to heart.
May we wisely build our houses on Your foundation
May Your Word give us Your understandings in things we don't comprehend.

We thank you for blessing us with the treasures of our hearts, our families, our communities, and a God-fearing country.
Continue to grow us through Your grace and increase our strength by our knowledge of You, Your Father and the Holy Spirit.

And, Lord, help us not BLINK!
Proverbs 24:3-5

By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.
A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength;

Instructions are easy.
Just write a post on your blog about a song. It can be a song that has spoken to your heart during a difficult time... a song that brings back a special memory... a song that makes you want to sing along to the top of your lungs... a song that makes you glad... a song that makes you want to dance... a song that has inspired you... a song that makes you feel like the words were written just for you... a song that makes your soul sing.

I love this song! I look back at my children each day and think...where did those last 8 years go? How is my baby already 3? Why is it that days seem to go by so slow, but years fly?

I love that song too, such truth-we need to cherish everyday that God gives us breath.
