FALL BUSY-NESS...

Even though I'm still enduring this 'head cold' ... it's been busy around here today. We were blessed with such a BEAUTIFUL, sunshiny day. All the color and crispness can't be truly captured in ALL it's glory but maybe a few pictures will give you an idea of our participation in God's world. CLICK EACH PIC to get a LARGER VIEW :D

Banana nut muffins started the day...

Hubby got busy with the blower, came in the house to get water and was 'pitiful' about needing help...

DD helped Chuckles rake and haul leaves to the compost and I mowed...you could almost hear the yard getting happier

I've enjoyed getting my new baby pansies planted in various locations...could not leave out the garage-door planter

The final few cabbages and pansies will be going into the cement urns sitting on the stoop of the front door

I swept the backporch and enjoyed visiting with my new birdhouse (from my recent mountain get-away-with-girlfriends trip)

...as well as my planter of perennials (from my recent trip to GrowersOutlet...I love dusty miller, it will get much bigger in the next month...

Praying your entry into Thanksgiving Week was as colorful as ours...we're very thankful for our little piece of His creation. What did you accomplish in His World today?

Banana nut muffins sound so good and I am sure they smelled good. We are hoping for decent weather so we can do the yard stuff, too. Your yard looks beautiful.

Such a beautiful yard! Worth the work, I'm sure :-) Banana muffins sound SO GOOD. Eat an extra for me! I'm thinking about making granola tonight in hopes the slightly cooler night air will cool off the kitchen sufficiently before morning. I miss my yogurt and granola breakfasts :-(

Oh, my goodness! I see my friend has turned into a mermaid since I last checked blogs. I better not wait so long!
I'm doing pretty good, This is the week that I make my annual divinity so that is keeping me pretty busy.
I got caught up with facebook and spend more time on it than I should.
Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
